The Homebuyer Report (also known as Home Survey Level 2) inspection is extensive and the report gives information regarding the property’s construction and condition. The report will help the buyer make a reasoned and informed judgement on whether or not to proceed with the purchase.
In addition, the surveyor will assess the agreed price and recommend how reasonable this is. The Homebuyer Report also includes an independent valuation of the property, so you can be confident in your decision to go ahead with the sale.
Additional advice is also given about repairs and areas of the property which will require ongoing maintenance.
The Homebuyer Report is suited towards a wider range of conventionally built homes, in reasonable condition and is the minimum level of report recommended for most properties.
